BIO
CURRENT:  I live, work and create in Ormond Beach / Daytona Beach, FL.

SPRING 2020 Update: Over the last 2 years I’ve shifted most of my creative practice from traditional paint media to digital media and hybrid processes. I still do a bit of watercolor sketching and commission work. New personal projects include a series of *laser etched watercolors channeling motifs associated with Geisha, Russian nesting dolls, ship figureheads and sugar skulls.  I’m experimenting with materials and developing a set of *technical processes, but so far the results are very promising!  On an outdoor note: I've also been building a robust and beautiful succulent garden. Might not sound like "art" to everyone, but to me it is an ever-changing living sculpture.
GRAPHIC DESIGN and ILLUSTRATION: I'm available for freelance logo design, pictorial design and graphic spot illustration as well as fully rendered traditional media illustrations in watercolor, acrylic or mixed media.
FINE ART: My traditional media works have been exhibited regionally, nationally, and internationally, including the Butler Institute of American Art Midyear Exhibitions (1998, 2009) and the Fort Wayne Museum of Art Contemporary American Realism Biennials (2008, 2010, 2012.)  Permanent collections include the Fort Wayne Museum of Art – Fort Wayne, Indiana and the Columbus Metropolitan Library – Columbus, Ohio. Other works are are included in private collections throughout the US. To learn more about these works, please review my artists statement.
